2012 Lada X Ray Concept
2012 Lada X Ray Concept: The XRAY Concept is the first vehicle designed under the direction of Steve Mattin, who penned SUVs like the Volvo XC60 and the Mercedes-Benz M-Class. The Concept has compact dimensions and a sporty look, achieved through the hatchback-like sloped C-pillars, the minimal rear overhang and the narrow DLO. The side view is characterized by distinctive treatment of the wheel arches and shoulders, with the door rear shut line following the kink of the carved-like surfaces.
The name comes by the X-shaped graphic featured on the front end, that could be adopted on future models of the Russian company starting from 2015. Inside, the X Ray receives an equally edgy styling complete with a high-quality leather coated seating arrangement, along with a futuristic dashboard and infotainment system AutoVAZ hopes that Mattin's expertise will bring the brand to the forefront of the Russian market beginning with their all-new concept.
