2012 Lamborghini Aventador
2012 Lamborghini Aventador: The Aventador is powered by a 690 horsepower 6.5L V12 that is mated to the new ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) transmission. All of that power is put to the ground via Lamborghini's Haldex 4-wheel drive system. It reaches 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph. Even with all of the power on tap the Aventador is 20 percent more fuel efficient than the Murcielago.
There will be 13 different exterior colors available, including three matte colors. After countless spy photos, teaser images and online leaks, the successor to the Lamborghini Murcielago's crown has been revealed: meet the Aventador. Its full name is the Aventador LP 700-4, the first part of its name coming from a famous fighting bull that won the Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera in 1993 for its "outstanding courage."
