2013 Jeep Liberty: The Chrysler Company stated that they will spend a serious amount of $1.7 billion to utilize and construct a next generation Jeep Liberty. Along with it, there is $500 million fund to retool and develop the Jeep assembly factory here as well. The company confirmed that the Liberty will be switched with model year 2013; which is a brand new D-segment model that will be on markets around the world.
The rest of the $1.7-billion investment will be used on other Chrysler facilities in the U.S and the supplier tooling along with related development costs for the new model car. The Toledo North Assembly Plant is the manufacturer that produces the 2012 Jeep Liberty and Dodge Nitro. The Toledo’s announcement regarding of the Nitro implied that there will be no replacement for the model.
